Target: Marshalling Yard, Cologne, Gemany

The target was Cologne. The MPI was the marshalling yard. The mission was short, and no flak or fighters. There was quite a lot of flak (450 guns). I caught a cold and coughed all the way over, so I didn’t do much flying on the way over, but I flew most of the way back. We saw a fighter ditch in the English Channel, and radioed air-sea rescue on “D” channel of the VHF set.
