												 - Period Covered:
 Thirty-two 398th Missions between May 6, 1944 and August 8, 1944 - When written:
Armand Fugge's diary was written daily from April 20 through August 21, 1944. There is an entry for every day, including days when he was not on missions and thus provides some insights into everyday life at Nuthampstead. The diary was typed up years later and copies were given to the Donald Lowe Crew at various 398th Reunions. The diary also provides a number of short comments on missions Armand did not fly or were scrubbed. There are also a number of first hand comments about his observations of what he saw when colleagues were shot down. - Transcribers to Electronic Text:
Raymond Borys with some minor editing by Wally Blackwell and Dave Jordan. The August 8th mission was transcribed from Flak News. - Contact Information:
