Comments:
- The Meyran B-17, 42-97746 K8-T, crashed on take-off just south of the main runway in Anstey, England on 15 October 1944. All crew of ten perished as the lead 603rd ship first struck the trees and then plunged into the moat surrounding what had once been Anstey Castle. Three of the crew are buried at Madingley American Cemetery in Cambridgeshire, England.
