  1. The Ingram crew was shot down on the 398th's 12 mission; the May 24, 1944 mission to Berlin. Aircraft flown was serial no. 42-1071323O-V. According to MACR 5253 they had made it through the flak, lost altitude and were brought down by enemy fighters on the turn for home. All members of the crew were KIA.
